From an early age I've had an interest in art - attending Saturday at the Carnegie in grade school and developing a real love for watercolor in high school. Through the years, with marriage and children (five of them), there was little time to pursue my artistic talents

Looking for creative outlets, I took up doll making, quilting, floral design and cake decorating. While my children were young, I had a home baking business and found satisfaction in icing art, creating beautiful wedding and all-occasion cakes. After ten years, I gave up my business and joined the "real" working world to help with college expenses.

After retirement I often thought of returning to watercolor but didn't remember much about it. Through a friend I learned about Marci Mason's classes in Regent Square and have been attending regularly and loving every minute. I have all the time in the world now to pursue this wonderful medium!
